Amsterdam House Hotel

Upgraded to a houseboat on the Amstel River, a great surprise for our Christmas getaway. The houseboat had 2 double bedrooms and 1 single, providing plenty of space for our group of 4 females. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the ice bar and the De Wallen Red Light District.

The bathroom could have used more towel bars and a shower caddy would have been helpful. The curtains in our room were wrinkled and had a dark stain on one of them.

The hotel is conveniently located near central attractions, making it easy to access everything you need. It may not be very close to the train station, but it is so close to everything you will be searching for in the city. You will appreciate being away from busier districts, allowing for a more peaceful stay. The rooms provide ample space, almost like an apartment, giving you a comfortable and relaxing experience. The friendly staff is always ready to assist you in any way they can, ensuring excellent service throughout your stay.

The bathroom could use some improvement, as there have been complaints about mold and cleanliness issues.

Excellent location, a short walk from the main train station and in the center of the city. Friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond for their guests. Rooms are well-equipped with en-suite bathrooms, TV, and coffee/tea facilities. Comfy beds and cozy rooms. Lovely view of the canal.

Hotel was cosy, clean, breakfast was perfect, exceptional location very close to everything one needs on a holiday in Amsterdam. Room was beautiful, had brand new bathroom and beautiful views to enjoy. The bed was very comfy, we enjoyed it and slept well.

Everything was good, beautiful location close to everything, the staff were funny. Enjoyed the double room and the way it was setup. Got continental breakfast with warm rolls and sparkling wine, as example...

The hotel is located right in the city centre, making it convenient for exploring Amsterdam's vibrant attractions and easy access to trams for further exploration. We enjoyed strolling along the beautiful canal right outside the hotel, immersing ourselves in the charming atmosphere of the city. The rooms on the second floor had lovely views of the Amstel river from two flowered windows, offering a truly picturesque setting. Moreover, the breakfast buffet, which was included in the rate for the first night, was a delightful surprise with a good selection of food served in a buffet style, and even included sparkling wine.

Everything was satisfactory and met our expectations.

I had an very nice stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was perfect, and the hotel facilities were great. The location, right in the center and next to the canal, was perfect. I didn't need to worry about transportation as I could walk everywhere. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices.

I had a wonderful stay at a small European boutique hotel right on the Amstel River. The rooms were small but in excellent condition, and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast room had a traditional charm with a view of the river, and the buffet-style breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location on a quiet street was perfect for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and enjoyable stay in Amsterdam.

Great location, walking distance to attractions. Amazing view of Amstel river. Good breakfast with barista brewed coffee. Clean rooms. Kind and helpful staff.
